La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stephenville

Was traveling for business. 1st shift staff is nonchalant, but wasn't rude. They did smile and greet me, even if they weren't able to look up from what they were doing. I'm just guessing by some of the other guests and trailers, but I think they had a rodeo or livestock event they were preparing for, so it makes sense on how busy front desk was. 2nd-Night Audit shift were very pleasant. I believe the person's name was Cody. Very professional, nice, accommodating and familiar with the area. Cody explained all policies and whatnot in clear language and didn't just speed through it all, like other properties have. Offered a bell cart & gave all tips such as breakfast times, pool and fitness area times, where everything was located in the building, etc. Cody made sure to keep a very well balance of assisting guests along with managing the phone, which was non-stop at some points. I really enjoyed seeing Cody ensure to follow up with each person and even step away from the desk when time allowed to assist guests in the pool and fitness areas. Definitely a true gem in the hospitality realm. Breakfast staff was very attentive. HSKP staff were friendly. Property is clean and well maintained. I didn't experience lackluster rooms or maintenance. Everything seemed well cared for. The epoxy in the tub can use some refreshing, though. I didn't see any bugs or disgusting "left" items during my stay at all. The TV in my room worked perfectly as did the remote. Property was very well lit and again, overnight staff stays aware of the property and makes it a point to be involved rather than just sit and do nothing. I did bring my own towels based on previous reviews since I was here on business and was using makeup (iykyk). They offered pool towels even though we took our own, which was a nice touch. Cons: - Breakfast dining area can get packed pretty easily, but this property doesn't ban guests from taking food to the rooms. - Room doors close hard and are very noisy. Overall, leadership at this property seems to really care about their business. It was a pleasure to stay.

Ok I need to update my last review ! Hands down BY FAR LAQUINTA IS THE CLEANEST, Nicest hotel in all of STEPHENville. I’ve now stayed at ever hotel and Laquita is the BEST! The beds are firm but maybe it’s cause they are new.

Amazing clean safe space to rest while traveling or visiting Stephenville. Only complaint i would have is it takes a while for the hot water to get to the room. Breakfast is good probably even better if you get there earlier than we did.

Called and spoke with Cody. He was super friendly. He booked our room and check in was so easy. Our room was very nice and clean. We had an amazing sunrise view. Our stay wasn’t planned and very last minute and Cody assured us that it was ok and had the best customer service. We definitely stay again at this location.

Room was very nice and clean. Mgr was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating as he was able to get us rooms next door to each other.

Stayed the night on a road trip cross country. This was a little expensive in our terms (trying to stay under $120) but wow the extra $30 showed. It was clean. Very very clean. I can't say that enough, it was clean. Front desk was nice and professional. Breakfast was good as well. Again the area was clean. Great hotel.

I travel to the area for work monthly. I always stay at this LaQuinta. The staff is great! The rooms are clean! During my last stay the tv would not connect. They installed a new tv and cable box quickly. The housekeeping staff always replenishes everything when they come in. The front desk is always welcoming and helpful.

Stayed here over the weekend of October 24-26 for my 40th High School Reunion. The room was clean and cool. The staff were very polite and courteous. Handicapped parking was good. I would stay there again.
